Description
Welcome to our Virtual Teen Leadership Camp for Summer 2020!
We are going to have a GREAT time this summer in our virtual camps. Join Dr. Barb and her team as they take teens on a challenging (yet rewarding!) journey learning all things leadership!
It’s never too early to learn about leadership! Well-developed leadership skills help propel teens in academics, work, social interactions, entrepreneurship, prepping for college, etc.
We have one week of camp left and it is packed with assessing, learning, developing and practicing leadership skills!

WHO: Camps are open to teens 13 to 18 year olds
WHEN:
- August 3rd -7th for 13-18 year olds
FORMAT: This is a virtual camp held online using the Zoom web conferencing platform. Students will spend 4 hours per day “at camp.” Each day will include a combination of live and self-paced sessions. Examples of live sessions include speakers, interviews, group discussions, team planning, project development, etc. Examples of self-paced sessions include watching short videos, developing plans, self-reflection/journaling, individual work on projects or portfolios, etc. Self-paced time offers trainers the opportunity to further coach and provide feedback to individuals and/or small groups during camp time. Camp begins promptly at 7 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST)* Monday through Friday. Camp wraps up at 1 p.m. PST Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. PST Friday. Short breaks are scheduled throughout each camp day, as well as extended lunch break of at least 30 minutes (except on Friday). Campers are expected to spend designated camp hours in Zoom or the learning management system. Camp ends on Friday with a culminating group project presentation, so staying engaged throughout the week is critical to both their own and their teams’ success.
