Welcome to BOTH our Intro and Advanced Virtual Teen Leadership Camp for Summer 2021!

Leadership camp is a week-long, virtual camp held online using the Zoom web conferencing platform. If you are participating in both camps you will have 2 full weeks of leadership fun!

WHO: Camps are open to teens entering 7-12 grade who have completed our level one camp last summer (2020) or this summer.

WHEN:

  • Intro camp either June 14th-18th OR July 12th – 16th (choose which week works best)
  • Advanced camp July 19th – 23rd ONLY

FORMAT: 

Leadership camp is a week-long, virtual camp held online using the Zoom web conferencing platform. If you register for both camps it is two full weeks of fun. Camp is 4 hours per day Monday through Thursday and 3 hours on Friday. Self-paced work takes 3-4 hours per day. Camp begins at 9:00 a.m. CST

Interactive, live sessions include lessons from leadership experts, interviews with current teen leaders, group challenges and discussions, team planning, project development, etc.

Self-paced sessions include watching short videos, developing plans, self-reflection/journaling, individual work on projects or portfolios, etc.

Leadership experts engage with individuals/small groups, discussing plans and providing feedback.

The Advanced camp also offers:
An emphasis on individual leader’s growth, with more one-on-one time with our leadership coaches and mentors.
Detailed planning and goal setting for every camper Project development focusing on topics such as volunteering, running for class office, setting a career path, etc.
The development of a leadership portfolio that highlights successes for each camper and his or her growth as a leader over the next several years.

COST: $544 per camper for a two week session

Once you enroll, we will send you a confirmation and confirm which week of Intro camp your teen would like to attend.

MATERIALS: Students are expected to have access to a laptop or desktop computer with a camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection during the entire camp. (Please refrain from attending camp using a smart phone). Any extra supplies will be minimal and may already be found at home!
